Aris Kamarotos received his degrees in photography from E.S.P. and Leica Academy, Athens, Greece (1999-2002). He is involved in various types of photography such as street photography, portraits, conceptual photography, theater and holds a passion for film photography. He has collaborated with a number of production companies and theaters undertaking the complete photographic work of the theatrical productions. From 2012 to 2015 he worked with the National Opera of Greece participating in the “Interactive Opera for Primary Schools” project which included travelling around the country in order to bring the world of opera to remote elementary schools. The program was co-funded by the European Union and the Greek state. He has participated in group exhibitions such as the Athens Photo Festival, the Fringe Festival and a solo exhibition titled “India, a country of contrasts”. Aris’ work has been published in magazines and has also been featured in various websites and online portals. He currently lives and works in Athens.
